Title: ottobar employee murdered outside of the club last night

from what i understand ottobar security kicked someone out of the GBH show last night, allegedly the friend of the guy being kicked out followed them outside and allegedly stabbed two ottobar employees, killing one of them.  and from what i understand the employees weren't even working, they were just there to see GBH.  terrible stuff.

So sad.  WTF is wrong with people?  Someone killed someone else over their buddy getting kicked out of a club?

I always thought the Ottobar was safe but now I don't know....maybe Walkie is right...maybe Baltimore should be avoided entirely....

of course i'm hoping to see jonathan richman and maybe the dean ween group there.... maybe feelies too.. they are getting some good acts!

Every city can be dangerous.  I would much rather (and do) spend my free time going out in Baltimore over DC.

Why the name calling?  What was idiotic about my post? 

People are posting saying avoid Baltimore, like it is Helmand Province, while people who live in that city post in here.  I know the risks of Baltimore, they do have a lot of murders a year, but I have loved the city for many years.  I do not live there though, and where i live I can choose between easily going to DC or Baltimore, and my love of Baltimore keeps me in that city more times than DC, for when I go out.  I spend more time in DC, since I work there.

Anyways, why the insult towards me?

They caught the guy and he's confessed to the whole thing. It sickens me that anything like this can/did happen

apparently the guy wasn't even at the GBH show, he showed up at the ottbar at 1am.
