Title: Sonic Youth report?

I know some of you were there last night in NYC.  Can anyone give a report, or setlist, or comment on Kim's sexiness?

I remember seeing Sonic Youth and Social D open for Neil Young, and Sonic Youth were showered with garbage by the crowd.

Thanks a ton for the link.  Some great Kim photos and the Sonic Youth setlist.  Damn what an amazing bunch of songs they played.

I saw that tour in San Francisco, Sonic Youth had a very appreciative crowd there.  It helped that the floor was GA so all the SY fans crowded down front for their set.  
 
 They ended their set with "Expressway to Yr Skull" and Thurston pushed his amps out to the front of the stage and stacked all his guitars on them making a feedback sculpture.

the white kids at the last sonic youth show at 930 about 2 years ago were moshing, or at least forming a semblance of a pit, crowdsurfing and uh stagediving.  i was in shock and awe.

Thurston Moore aged a lot better than Kim Gordon.  I blame drugs. That is probably the reason they got divorced.

Went to that site and then realized why do I care what girl Thurston Moore supposedly dated. Then I find another article bitching about how Gwyneth Paltrow was named most beautiful woman in the world.  Read comments and everyone is complaining about her. 

God it is so hard being tall, blonde, and blue eyed in this country as everyone is so jealous.  I was complaining about all the discrimination I have to go just the other day.  Anyway Thurston's chick is no Gwyeneth.
