Exactly what it says on the tin.
-
Bitch please, we're a non-profit.
Although I take great pleasure in knowing I've made more than a million dollars from this non-profit. Thanks, suckers.
-
glad I never gave to those annoying pledge drives ;D
-
You paid taxes though, didn't you? And those taxes flowed from Capitol Hill to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, right? And those same dollars then made their way to me to spend on $200 bottles of whiskey that I can't even remember drinking because I was wasted, correct?

I fear I'm going to have to make a "ITT, RatBastard rants about libtards socialist policies funding Relaxer's debauchery" thread soon.
Things are spiraling out of control. Spiraling.

Relaxer will be a corporate shill
Bitch please, we're a non-profit.
Corporation for Public Broadcasting
Um?
-
Um?
Yes, a corporation can be a non-profit.
Corporation is a business form.
Non-profit is the aim of the business form.
-
Thanks for explaining that to Relaxer.

Thanks for explaining that to Relaxer.
No problem - I was catching up to the thread. And yes, he's absolutely shilling his corporation...
-
You idiots. CPB is a corporation, which provides funding to NPR, which is a non-profit.
"A corporation providing funds to a non-profit?!? Why, I've never heard of such a thing," Julian said.
"Oh, I agree," Vansmack said.
"Shall we kiss?" Julian continued."
"Need you ever ask?" Vansmack cooed.

Season two of Serial seems way, way different.

Relaxer,
I was unaware you worked at CPB.
Have you worked there for a long time? An old friend worked there for years in the 90's/early 00's and enjoyed your debaucherous ways. I wonder if we've crossed paths before.
-
No, I don't work for CPB though I'm there quite a bit. I work for a public radio national network and have been here almost 10 years.
-
one whole day . . . actually, not even a whole day

While I will concede that I was in error that you worked for CPB (and judging by the other replies, I was not alone) but I will not concede that I am an idiot as CPB is a private, non-for-profit corporation, which is all I was saying.
"CPB as a private, not-for-profit corporation" (http://www.cpb.org/aboutcpb/)
But you are still a shill. And there's nothing wrong with that.

relaxer . . . muscle hunk, npr nerd

With that thread title, can't believe this one hasn't been used since

and can report that relaxer exists, may be a shill, but still plays some guitar and heaps praise on his kids.
I'm sure he's been at many a show over the years and he should really come up and say hi. bald white old dudes seem to be the majority of the attendees at a lot of these show and I'm blind
-
He also still lurks as of June 17th, 2025... but there's a thread for that.
Hi relaxer

Guys, in retrospect, Season 2 of Serial is way sexier than I recall. Gotta listen to this thing again . . .
