well I read what I posted...it said we suck.... not that many local bands... people don't pack the shows in.. that sort of thing

They must have only looked at Live Nation venues.

I agree, I've seen plenty of 2 night runs of bands and have been to waaay too many sold out shows
...DC may not be on the NYC/Chic/LA/SF level of local and touring artists...we get just about everyone that tours

The list has nothing to do with the amount of touring bands that play a city.

the factors for this study have nothing to do with shows, how good they are and what's the likelihood of seeing a good band in a good venue
I mean Cape Coral-Fort Myers, FL
that is quite possibly the worst place for music
same with Lynchburg, VA
really, Lynchburg has better bands/venues than the DMV
study is useless
