If you had called it "Officially signed collectibles thread" then you'd be golden.

Do we have to have an official certificate of authenticity for the items to post them here? What if we got them signed ourselves? Would this be the appropriate place for people to request autographed headshots of me?

I've got a Bill Kirchen signed cd that somebody gave me.

I've got a picture of my wife standing in the rain with Jeff Tweedy. I think he also signed our Bumbershoot program, but that's probably long-lost.

There should be a thread for that.

oh, but I did.
it's 50/50 on both of them.

I've stopped purchasing music unheard
2016 was easily my lowest spend on recorded music in over 30 years
saw lots of great bands that year....I'd like to think I support the blokes who swing through town

well all I will say is that the last Old 97s record was the best thing they have done in 20 years.. as i told you in person i love it.. so much so i went to see them live again.. all of this was foretold to you..

I don't subscribe to the Hipster/Killsally credo (see: I don't want to buy the new Britta record.. Hey I go see lots of bands!)

Shipping kills this “deal” but the Beta Band is reissuing The 3 eps on vinyl and there are some signed copies available.

sold for $3,932,00

was a gift to a drum tech of all people
The guitar was gifted by Eddie Van Halen to the band's retiring drum tech Gregg Emerson around 1990. Emerson subsequently gave the guitar to his nephew, who sold the guitar to Neal's Music in Huntington Beach, California. Neal's Music then sold the instrument to its current owner.

wonder what he sold it for, probably not more than 50k

I gotta buy and read Van Halen rising. It’s supposed to be about when they were kids playing people’s backyards and high school parties. Sounds super fun and they say it’s great

The Monk book was so so. It picks up when they sign.
