Title: Observation, May Not Mean Anything: Tours Starting in the Market

METALLICA, TOOL, IRON MAIDEN -- all within three weeks locally and each starting the US leg of tour at the local show.   
Prolly just coincidental but I wonder if there is a new pattern.
Anyone notice more of this -- large venue or club level?

I think the DC market is just considered a warmup location for the real shows in Baltimore.

The Wedding Present in April starts here first and Adam Ant did back in January.
