Title: In which Walkie finally gets the respect he deserves.

I know he's watching; its time to summon the big guy home.

I'll be the first to say that legends always return, but if a three night WSP run, a Dead Milkmen announcement, and Seth speaking on NPR can't get the bow tie'd ginger back to the forum, we may have it on good authority that he'll never be back.

Has anyone checked the rehab facility that ggw was in?

He emailed me a few weeks back and assured me he would be back soon. It's time to wake up the echoes.

I did not know Tommy Keene was gay. Until I read his obituary. Gay, just like Walkie.

saw this and felt I needed to share and not in the AI thread

First, they came for the em dash.
Then the semicolon.
Then even the lowly comma wasn’t safe.
Then words themselves withered on the tongue.
And without words, even the pitchforks felt pointless.
But the hunt for AI raged on.

hmmm.....

Maybe, this has all changed since the last 3 times I went there when they first started

Horrible to drive to. Nowhere I saw to park. Clusterfuck area. No metro near; I'm not walking 10 minutes. Cabs don't go there at all, ever. I had to finally walk over a railroad track bridge to get to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel just to find a cab after shows. That was scary at night, as all shit. Everything restaurant or bar wise around there seems to be upscale,  board up their ass places. Hate the seating inside, Hate how hard it is too get good upper sections. Hate the beer selection. I love the club, always have, always will. Plus some guy name Hutch works there ( kidding ).

The, end.

sounds suspect
as I can't see jules saying 'Anthem is awesome'

although this is 2017, so it is possible he was in the middle of an Ayahuasca Journey or recovering from GWARBBQ

recovering from GWARBBQ
When you get out of an abusive relationship, any port looks great in a storm.

God, I remember that trip, and show! Rupaul's Drag Race Werk the World Tour. That restaurant in the Mandarin was life altering. And the first time I had been to the Anthem. I did really like the place from the first time experience, but the next, two times were horrible adventures, because I did not stay at the hotels there, but attempted to cab it in and out.
