TiVo has lost its CEO and CTO in the span of a month.  Are you seeking alternatives before they go out of business?

I fully agree the writing is on the wall there but since I have their newest model on a prepaid lifetime subscription, I will roll with them until the box breaks or Rovi stops publishing guide data. It will be my last TiVo product, however. I don’t really see them working with the next gen of non-cable-card “cable”.

TiVo will probably live on as a software company licensing out the menu interface to other makers.
