It??s Tax time, but there??s no need to stress. SACCHARINE is tax free and the perfect additive to sweeten any tax blues. Whether you are getting a rebate or have to pay we have something for you this month on Friday April 15th. For the unlucky few that have to pay stop by between 9-10 p.m. for free entry to everyone on the email list and open bar! Drown all those visions of 1040??s with a drink on us or just hide out from that IRS agent!
We couldn??t just leave it at that, so just to pump up the volume to that extra sweet height we have a few added incentives for you this month. You may have guessed it, our music raffle is back. This month we have CDs from Mando Diao courtesy of Mute Records and Alcian Blue a local DC band that if you haven??t heard you need to get your head out from underneath that rock!
The press says:
Mando Diao return with the stunning UK debut album ??Hurricane Bar?, a record full of melodic gems, infectious tunes and unashamedly anthemic choruses.
Mando Diao (http://www.mando-diao.com)
Alcian Blue??s music is layered with fuzz and feedback. Though immediately catchy, listeners can expect to always find something else buried under the chaos waiting to scratch the surface.

Just a quick update. I know it's outside of our normal genre, but thanks to Filter MAgazine and Atlantic records we have added a copy of Handsome Boy Modeling School's new album "White People" to the CD raffle giveaway.
The press says:
Handsome Boy Modeling School "White People" - With almost 25 guest appearances (including De La Soul, Barrington Levy, Del The Funky Homosapien, El-P, Pharrell Williams, Jack Johnson, Chester Bennington (Linkin Park), RZA, and other music luminaries), this album seamlessly combines hip-hop, rock, roots, alternative and jazz.
Hope to see you next week!

Just able to quickly log in - my Internet access is still pretty much non-existant, hence my lack of participation on here!
We've got some really exciting/fun things planned for SACCHARINE tomorrow night (and I'm not just saying that). ;)
Hope to see you there.
Cheers
DJ Medusa.

Hey! What's wrong with that Jet song? I think it's got some catchy guitar work in it. Then again, I never really liked guitar that much. ;)
