I like 'em and would definitely go see 'em.  I confuse them with OK GO most of the time (I got both their albums about the same time; if I had to choose, I'd go with OK GO...).

I think how popular depends on who is getting the oral sex in sonick's story

i would think their popularity would depend on how much today's emo younger kids have embrace(d) -- get it, hahahah!!!! -- their elders ... for a while in the late 90s the get up kids were pretty big in the modern emo scene, don't know if they still are ...
 
 little kids aside, there will probably be a pretty big contingent of late 20s-ish people who would go see this show ... i like their gimmicky cover of the cure's "close to me"...

Also, as the original poster noted, it'll be their final show (until the inevitable reunion tour, at least), so it will probably draw some "I never got to see them before and this is my last chance" people.
 
 My bet is it'll sell out in advance.
