....and get to pick one concert to go to
I think I would really want to see Billie Holiday cafe society (early 40s) or prior....in NYC...maybe a show with Sinatra in attendance...of course I would get to talk to her...these where not huge shows...she was quite beautiful in her younger days...who knows? Of course she seemed to go for men that where pimps and abusive..
What is the one show you really would want to see if you could time travel?
There are so many....

Oddly, I just had this conversation with a friend the other day. I picked 3 concerts: Joy Division at the Paradiso, Husker Du circa 1983-1985, and The Screamers circa 1978.

I'd zoom forward to the secret Daft Punk show at the club in 2022.

Very, easy
That Dylan show, where he went Electric, and everyone lost their fucking, minds.

Yeah, but you'd have to be in Rhode Island. Eww.

As, much as I agree . . . Gurrrrl, I was referring to the Royal Albert Hall show in London.

That's like a solid year after Newport which was the first electric performance, to be fair. But a great recording, nonetheless.

I was not aware, of that.
Your effort, towards detail is turning me on.

When I use you're instead, of your, and your, instead of you're, I feel as if your eyes our upon me, telling me, you're dumb.

REM, The Fleshtones, Let's Active at Ontario Theatre October 7, 1983 the night after REM's first TV appearance.
The Clash at Bonds.

This is somewhat similar to your other thread... but I'll play. How many can we list, because in reality there could be 10's to 100's. I don't want this to look like a killsally album best of list.
-
Well I plan to list a few more...but list away
Two more:
There is a show at Fillmore East in 1970 that Miles Davis opened for Neil and Crazy Horse..I want to say Feb 1970...both sets have been released
There is a show where Allmans opened for Grateful Dead at Fillmore East in March 1970....The Dead show was released as Dicks Picks 4....the Allmans where building up and one year later came their legendary sets at Fillmore

One more, for me.
Every, The Polyphonic Spree show, I have ever missed.
I saw Jesus touch my soul, the last three times I saw them.
I need Jesus, to touch me, again.

I thought of another
The legendary Sex Pistols show in Manchester....
Bonus would be you could find Morrissey, New Order, Buzzcocks etc in crowd...would be fun to walk around spotting them and who knows who else maybe Mark E Smith, Tony Wilson, Kevin Cummings
And only 42 people there!
