he was pretty great, but i started to get a little sick of espn's coverage of him

fitting that his final play is a horribly thrown, ill-advised interception. he really perfected that play over the years.

Interesting little bit of trivia...
Favre's first NFL completion was to himself off a batted ball.

Why would you retire with that being your last pass? The only person to have a more sour final game was Dan Marino. His final game was playoff loss to Jacksonville where the Dolphins lost 62-7. Marino was 11 of 25 for 95 yards, 1 TD, 2 ints and a fumble that was returned for a touchdown.
Favre should have kept on playing. He should have made it an even twenty years. With him at QB, the Packers are one of the best teams in the NFC and could go to the Super Bowl.
What's John Madden going to do? Or ANY of the sportscasters now that their No. 1 man crush isn't going to play football anymore? Madden is probably inconsolable on a bus that's driving to some rib joint in Tennessee.
I love the "Top 5 Reasons You Can't Blame...the Atlanta Falcons for trading Brett Favre" episode on ESPN. All five reasons? Brett Favre.
Maybe he'll go into acting. He was a natural in "There's Something About Mary."

Thank heavens. Perhaps sportscasters will stop verbally sucking his cock every day now. I imagine Tony Kornheiser and John Madden are hugging each other and sobbing somewhere right now.

Good. Fuck that guy. And fuck football. Go read a book you dumb jocks!

Hey, Brett Favre is just a guy who loves to play football. What a guy he is. He's just having fun out there, because that's the kind of guy Brett Favre is, a guy who loves to play football. What a guy. What a warrior. He can drink my milkshake any time, Brett Favre, because he just comes to play.
