Radio Birdaman
Niether an actual song title, but a lyric.

Cool thread. Can't believe these exemplars haven't been mentioned here OR Wikipedia:
Slow Dive, after a Siouxsie and the Banshees song of the same name
Low, after a David Bowie album
Several Species, after a Pink Floyd lyric (but they're a tribute band, so it doesn't really count)
I'll probably think of some others 'cuz I run across them all the time.

While I'm sure they don't mind a tip of the hat to CCR, the band originates from an area where the Green River runs. And I think their name was more of an homage to the Green River Killer, who killed like 50 women in the 80s.

Uh Huh Her - PJ Harvey song/album
-
The Five O'clock Heroes
-
The Drowners (suede)
-
The Old 97s. From a Johnny Cash song (or lyric)
-
The Lovin' Spoonful, from an old blues lyric.
-
I hate this band. PJ Harvey should sue them.

Remy Zero got their name after mishearing the repeated phrase "mammy's hero" in the Kate Bush song "Army Dreamers"
