Who knew that the Frames would have more albums in the top 15 than a certain well-known quartet from Dublin?

It's an IRISH list, not a British list, silly!!

The Waterboys' "Fisherman's blues" number 28? no way, should be among the top 10.
-
I'm just shocked that O'Malley's March didn't make the list. Most likely an Ehrlich staffer is responsible for this horrible omission.

Hmmmm...I would have included Troublegum by Therapy? to that list.

Haven´t read what were the rules followed to make the list, but it seems more an irish music list than an irish bands list. The Waterboys recorded the album in Ireland but the members of the band are from Scotland and England (I believe, although most of the musicians that participated in the album were irish). Same thing with the Pogues, I think most of them were born in England.

no Therapy? is a bad ommission as is no Fat Lady Sings
if shite like Aslan and An Emotional Fish can make it on these should have too

I'd say this was compiled by U2 and The Frames marketing company....not that it's biased or anything....
At least they had Thin Lizzy in there. And how can it be Irish without Hothouse Flowers or The Undertones up near the top?
U2...Ireland's answer to The Beatles.

and the frames damn well should have a slew of albums on that list. they are f'n amazing.
very nice to see mic christopher get a nod on the list. as well as bellx1, mundy, mark geary and david kitt. i have all these albums should anyone want a copy.
but where is prayerboat? polichinelle is an absolutely stunning album.
and the coors ranked higher than hothouse flowers? that's just wrong.
