HavenÂ´t read what were the rules followed to make the list, but it seems more an irish music list than an irish bands list. The Waterboys recorded the album in Ireland but the members of the band are from Scotland and England (I believe, although most of the musicians that participated in the album were irish). Same thing with the Pogues, I think most of them were born in England.

At least they had Thin Lizzy in there. And how can it be Irish without Hothouse Flowers or The Undertones up near the top?

very nice to see mic christopher get a nod on the list. as well as bellx1, mundy, mark geary and david kitt. i have all these albums should anyone want a copy.

but where is prayerboat? polichinelle is an absolutely stunning album.

and the coors ranked higher than hothouse flowers? that's just wrong.
