Interesting idea…I read a jazz history by the guy who wrote this

I feel like this is not that different from the convo we just a while back about the value of an artists back catalogue over time.

I would, but if my artists picks are anything like my ticket skills, I’m gonna loose my shirt

It’s definitely related…the catalog would be a driver of an artist share’s price…but there would be other drivers

No this would be more like your stock market skills
Imagine buying Adele stock on the ground floor when she did her show at the 930 for her first album…that kind of thing…I think

I think it’s a great idea
I mean think about the value of Arlo parks in nov 2020
You will make a killing in Jan 2022 when she tops the best of lists
I think this could work with classic rock bands and one hit wonders
Unlike a limited edition double vinyl on orange wax, which feels like it has some value
you could convert this to cash instantly

I have to be honest I didn’t read the article till just now
But the quote is great
“Hey, our firm got into Olivia Rodrigo in the first round, for ten cents a token—and we’re now issuing new tokens at two bucks.”
