If there are any QOTSA fans out there, I just had to say that I saw them this past weekend in San Francisco and it was among the top 3 concerts I've ever seen in my life. Truly, I cannot remember a concert that I have enjoyed as much as this one. I had seen the 9:30 Club shows last year, but since last September they have become a different band. I've never seen them play so hard and sound so good. Not a single second was wasted on that stage...it was like witnessing a hurricane. At first, people were just kind of rocking out a bit...but by the end, everyone was going completely out of their minds. The Warfield is a superb venue and the sound was absolutely terrific (and I was even in the balcony). I just wish I could track down a recording of this one. Wow. One of the best concert experiences of my life.

That is so awesome to hear. I've just gotten into them, so I hope I get to catch them somewhere!
Hey, I'm in S.F. November 6 - 9. If you see a good show coming up, let me know!

Well, one of my personal favorites...Echo & the Bunnymen! :-) Nov. 6th at the Fillmore. I'm going to see them in NYC.

Bunnyman,
Visit the QOTSA.com message board and look for a guy under the nick "Asthma." He'll probably be the best resource for locating a copy of that show if one was made.

Mother of god. If it's not sold out, I'm going to see Echo & the Bunnymen in S.F. Friggin' Ay!!

Random Citizen, you ROCK!!! Thank you thank you thank you. And Bagster, keep in mind this is Echo's 25th anniversary tour...all oldies!!! So yes, it will be an amazing show no doubt.

I'll have to go alone -- don't know anyone in S.F. but cousins who wouldn't go. :( But, I'll still love every second, I'm sure.
Graz!

Bagster, I should be there. If you're staying through Monday, the Mars Volta are at the Filmore.

Go! Even if it's just to see the opening band, The Stills. Unfortunately, they are completely skipping this entire area.
