Friend just called me and said he's listening to the new radiohead album. Is he full of it?

Maybe he's listening to the most recent album and it's new to him. Just a thought.

Not true if you don't know the right people.

well, i do "know the right people" and still usually only get the albums like a week before some buttwad throws them on every site imaginable. having connections doesnt get you too many benefits anymore. though, i have found i can get some album advances from bands that arent quite as popular, so thats cool.
otherwise, unless you know someone from the band, label or studio, you're getting a few days advance from the rest of the downloading world.

You mean "Kid B"?

while a lot of reps still tour new music around to radio stations for 'playback' only, more often than not, it comes in as mp3's from your friendly neighborhood p2p.
-
Apparently Yorkie recorded each member of the band taking a piss and then mixed them together. Die hard fans are calling it the best thing since OK Computer.

Are you sure you're not leaking about a Radiohead album hear?

Radiohead Become Lullabies (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/37872/Radiohead_Become_Lullabies)
We've heard reggae Radiohead. We've heard goth Radiohead. We've heard classical Radiohead. We've heard emo Radiohead. We've heard electronic Radiohead. We've heard hip-hop Radiohead.
Now get ready for...baby Radiohead! On August 29, Baby Rock Records brings you Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Radiohead. Other planned lullaby tribute victims include Bjork, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Queens of the Stone Age, the Cure, the Beatles, and Tool.
Not making this up:
"Rockabye Baby! transforms timeless rock songs into beautiful instrumental lullabies. The delicate sounds of the glockenspiel, vibraphone, and other instruments will lull your little one into a sweet slumber. These versions of Radiohead are sophisticated enough for people of all ages, but sweet enough to introduce your child to rock's smartest band. Their album Kid A imagines the scope and power of music created by a newborn child. What will your baby dream about while drifting off to these serene interpretations of Radiohead's best-loved songs?"
Eat it, Kidz Bop.
Tracklist:
01 No Surprises
02 Let Down
03 Subterranean Homesick Alien
04 Airbag
05 Paranoid Android
06 Knives Out
07 Karma Police
08 There There
09 Everything in Its Right Place
10 2 + 2 = 5
11 Sail to the Moon

No, this is all wrong! The lyrics must stay for a whole new twisted generation!
They need to add some Morrissey to the list.

Yeah he's full of it.

He probably thinks the Thom Yorke album is a new Radiohead album.
-
Sorry. He's an idiot and was listening to some of the live shows. Why he called this 'the new album' I dont know.
