Damn. I'm missing 2 shows that I really wanted to see.
I expect full reports with set lists by the end of the week. ;)

awesome show.

Yes it was, even with the drunk guy that was knocking into me all night.

did he play the 'big three' from Replicas: i'm praying to the aliens, are friends electric, and down in the park? i got to see him once, a year or two before he appeared in the Urgh! compilation. if anyone could post a paragraph or so about the show, it would be much appreciated!

Unfortunately, I am not that familiar with a lot of Gary Numan's music, but the show was pretty good. As far as the familiar songs, he did a great version of Down in the Park. There was no Praying to the Aliens nor I believe Are Friends Electric. He did do a kind of rushed through version of Cars. I tried looking for a set list but haven't been able to locate one. Plus, I haven't seen the DJ set list for before New Skin (it was all NIN before Gary came out).

I thought the show, which I expected to be more synth-pop, was rocking - especially for an aging artist. I even detected a smile of satisfaction on his face at the very end. And he did perform "Are Friends Electric?" towards the middle of his set.

thanks for the mini-reports, paul styrene and dandy01!
