Anyone know anything about this? Is this to pay NOW debts, or to try and keep it open?

From the Now! email list:
Ok Everyone. We're approaching the final stretch of closing up shop here at Now! Music and Fashion. We'll be around for a while longer while we sell off stuff for ridiculously low prices:
Everything in the store is now 50% off!!!!
So come and get it. There's still a surprisingly good selection of new and used music, as well as vintage clothing. Seriously.
Keep in mind that we're open on just the weekends now: Saturdays 12-8 and Sundays 12-6.

Too bad, you have to register online to the story.
I've been to the Now shore when it was in Clarendon. I felt the store's movew to Falls Church may hurt their loyal fan base because it was to far to go. Too bad, it has to close down.

how's the used cd selection there?
-
Anyone go to this who can report? Do they have any stock left?
-
i was there from about 6 to 7:30. saw kevin from the lil hospital, who was way too twee for me, and i caught about ten minutes of mark pernice, which was pretty good (naturally, sounded like his band come down).
there are some new and used cds left, and some decent used records. i bought $110 worth of stuff, which came to $55 at half-off. good deals if you can find something. the stock has been depleted for a couple of years now.
