They ask for name, address, email, etc... at the end of the questions, but you can just put in fake stuff (I entered Rhett's address) and still get the results.

Apparently, I live on the wrong side of the country, as my top three were Denver, Salt Lake and Seattle, with Carlisle, PA inexplicably at number 4.
-
i came out with minneapolis as number 1 and seattle at number 2.  carlisle came in at 6.

-
Portland was my #1, and my #2 was some place in Arkansas so I just decided this was hogwash...

I think back before we had resigned ourselves to the life of indentured servitude as DC professionals that we now are working on numbing ourselves to, we used this tool to see where we might want to live...

But I can't take seriously a tool that gives $370K + for the top home price.

				Manchester, England!

 Damn it's good!!

Actually, it did suggest America's Manchester....Seattle.
-
I've never been to Manchester, but my guess is that it's way more blue collar/economically depressed than Seattle.

It's probably more blue collar, but Manc's economy is very strong, and has been for a few years now.

Fewer coffee shops but more beer shops
Fewer flannel shirts, more Man Utd. shirts
 Fewer Birkenstocks, more Doc Martens
Fewer crappie grunge bands, more amazing Britpop bands!
-
When I took the quiz, it said my #1 choice was Little Rock, Arkansas! (Ack, no!)  ;)

All of the other choices given for me were pretty damn off too.

 Cheers

 DJ Medusa.

Actually, I think grunge has pretty much departed the Seattle music scene. Can't say I'm that crazy about what has replaced it though.

i'm surprised as well, also with the fact that almost 1/3 of the cities are in california - and i haven't ever lived there. i actually wish there would have been a sort of rhyme/reason explanation of how the list was devised. eyalgj.

Maybe you checked the "Strongly Agree" box that asked:

Do you want to live where all the cool people live?
-
Then how would you explain four of my top eight being in CA?

Secretly you yearn for coolness, so much that you will argue that listening to alt-country is what all the cool kids are doing.....

I feel like I should be wearing a t-shirt that says "I heart Virginia". The weird thing is, I never checked off anything that was location specific.

On another note, I should be up around Carlisle this Saturday visiting relatives.
