"At the height of their success, Tony, Gary and the rest of the boys were one of the world's biggest pop acts. They are now hoping they can match the success of other Eighties comeback bands like Duran Duran."
Are Duran Duran all that successful right now? Wow. Though I'm sure they rake in cash on touring, it seems like new albums or songs are a pipe dream....
Viva la pipe dream!

lulu reads Hello!! HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OOOOOH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HEEEE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
What were we talking about? Oh yes, Spandau Ballet. That has novelty tour written all over it. I know a lot of 80's bands seem to be getting on the reunite bandwagon, and God bless em if they can make some coin out of it, but some will retain credibility and some become a novelty...Spandau and Duran Duran scream novelty...I haven't heard any of new Tears for Fears but I can see them pulling it off while retaining credibility.

Didn't DD have a big dance hit a few years ago? A cover of "White Lines" or something?

And actually, after seeing The Sounds open for the Strokes, that music very well may be on the way back.
