Got this from the KEXP DC listserve. It's pretty cool 'cuz there's a quick sketch of the band/artist.
Welcome, KEXP DC members, to Mr. Joel's DC Show List!
You are going to need extra beer money and comfortable shoes in the next several weeks... A big list of shows at:

He says that MC Honky is e's other persona. I am pretty sure that is not true, thought I saw the two of them at the same time.
-
errrrr,
but the guy playing Mc Honky at the shows isnt really MC Honky, its some guy pretending to be Mc Honky.
Anthony Hopkins isnt really Hannibal Lecter, you do know that, dont you?
-
Hey, it's just some guy. I'm certainly not vouching for his accuracy or taste in what's worthy to list, just another tool for finding out what's around town.

I think this guy has a better list of upcoming shows:

the first hing was cool as it highlighted the Jammin Java kirsten Hirsh thing.....
I still have a crush on her.....
I never seem to check that place.
Seems I am going to most of the shows on that second list :(

I saw the Natural History show. I'm pretty sure I didn't spot Mr. Mulling there.
I really want to like Natural History, but they leave me underwhelmed, both on disc and live. Although I did find the live show better than the disc. The lead singer wants to be Elvis Costello sooooo badly.
Radio 4 on the other hand were fabulous. Too bad the turnout was so light.
-
I think Mr. Mulling was in Las Vegas
-
And as far as Natural History goes, I like a few songs on the album a lot, but I don't remember them being very interesting live when they opened for spoon.
-
Markie, are you 'errr'-ing at me or Sir HC?
-
But virtually all of his shows are black cat, 9:30 club. The other site is more offline shows. With little descriptions.
What are the Thermals like?
