So many.....

Walk on by - Stranglers, the instrumental bit in the middle of the song is the best mid-song instrumental EVER!

There's just one of many because you only asked for one.

Recently, High Rise "Pop Sicle", even though it is incredibly fatiguing to the ears.

On the opposite end, I'm pissed that a particular car company that insists on buying every other commercial time slot is using Flaming Lips' "Do You Realize". A great song from a great band and they're gonna make me hate it    .

yep.

And "Bad" by U2.  I will never get tired of hearing those two songs.

As for recent songs, I could put "OK with my Decay" by Grandaddy on or "Death of an Interior Decorator" by Death Cab and not get sick of them, but I'm not sure about 10 years from now.

Other songs on my MP3 player that haven't been removed in years are the aforementioned "Common People" by Pulp, the UK Surf mix of "Wave of Mutilation" by the Pixies, "Straight to Hell" by the Clash and "Head on" by the Jesus and Mary Chain.

I agree with the Grandaddy one, that's an excellent song. As for Pixies, The Happening might be the one I would have to choose, if I was obliged to choose one song.
