that drug is evil.  leary and hoffman were dead wrong . . . and now they are dead.  lucy in the sky with you just fucked your life.  and stay away from suns of satan (lsd dipped in pcp).

albert hofmann invented lsd in 1938.  first tried it in 1943 during ww2.  he lived to be 102 yrs old.  dies this yr.  he did not approve of kesey, leary + hippies but he supposidly took lsd until he died.

nope, he stopped taking it years ago.  he said that he had learned everything there was to learn from it, anything more was indulgent and hedonistic (aka exactly what he reproached the hippies for).

i wish i knew that guy last week. i could've used a restock after terrastock.

in all seriousness, i've been doing "that stuff" for years and i'm just fine. perhaps a bit socially retarded, but i was arguably worse pre-hallucinogenic daze. it's all about set and setting and moderation. aldous huxley, my favorite author, is also my favorite example of why acid can be a very powerful and useful yet largely benign drug: he did it consistently for the last ten years of his life and died at the age of 68 on 250mg of lsd.

this guy's real crime was being stupid enough to go to camp bisco. nobody at the velvet lounge would've ratted him out!
