I miraculously got mine in the presale, which I'm still not sure how I did, since it apparently sold out in like 1 minute.  Can't wait to see this.  With the doors opening at 10:30pm and an opening act, I figure we might be there until 4 in the morning...

A question looking for an answer.  I know someone who went to the box office to buy tix for Ryan Adams, and they just called me to say it wasn't open, and wouldn't be open until 12 pm (which is different from Wilco which opened for sales at 10 am and why he went down there at 10 today).  In any case, does anyone know whether the box office holds tickets back to sell starting at 12 pm, or were all tickets sold through tickets.com?

Your best bet would be to go here. $158 for 2 tickets. What a bargain!

Any idea if they're going to presale parking for this show as well?  I didn't see anything about it on tickets.com and I'm wondering why...could it be due to the late start time?

Box office opens at noon.  I can't swear on my sister's life or anything, but I'd put pretty big money that if tickets sell out on tickets.com before them, too bad.  I'm sure the Wilco was an unusual circumstance because they knew it would be a huge and quick seller (not that I know the why of that one....).

No matter what people may say about Rhett, at least he is down with the board tradition of pouncing on newbies as quick as possible.

This is probably old news, but it's new to me and I love it...

Ryan Adams has a message for the critics

While it may not have quite the perverse appeal of the Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee sex video, the latest slice 'o' life to end up caught in the Net is this one-sided conversation that rocker Ryan Adams had with Chicago Sun Times music critic Jim DeRogatis's answering machine.

Presented here in all its 3 minute glory, this is about as close as this blog will ever get to an episode of The Osbournes.

as a teacher, those are the kind of messages I would like to leave for unruly parents...
