Title: The Walkmen - You & Me
Post by: mr. pretentious on July 29, 2008, 11:00:00 am
Who else is looking forward to this album?

I didn't much care for A Hundred Miles Off and their Harry Nilsson/John Lennon full-album cover of Pussy Cats was pretty bleh, but I've heard nothing but good reviews for this new one, comparing it to their first two albums.  And personally, I think Bows + Arrows is one of the best albums of this decade, so huzzah!  :)

Oh oh, and in addition, you can download You & Me here (http://amiestreet.com/artist/the-walkmen) for 5 bucks, and all proceeds go to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  High quality mp3s, too!

Terrible, awful band. What do they sound like? Are they any good?

Looks like another great album. First song is a certified nut-tingler. Very consistent. Great, great band.
