Sure its giving MTV your money, but is anyone else going for another round of Muse? I sure as hell am!
-
I will be in attendance as well. From the setlists I've seen, they're playing 3-4 new songs, so it should be pretty cool.
-
i had planned on it, but then the BF bought baseball tickets...so going to the nationals game instead
-
I'll be there. Glad that I saved my student ID - tix were only $10. Missed Razorlight first time around, so I'll be interested in seeing them too.
-
I'll be there. Curious to see how Razorlight is live. They're decent, but nothing to really write home about.
-
This is the most convenient concert I've ever seen. I literally walk across the street to it.
It's sad that this is the third time I'm seeing Muse this year, but they put on a good show.
-
where is this show?

aha, that would explain why i hadnt heard about it. thanks.
-
Can anyone of you guys give me tips how I can get there by car and where I can park my car? I live NW D.C. and I am going with a friend to see Muse. When, do you think, the doors will open?
-
I can't help you out too much on times, but parking is pretty easy around campus at night. There is a large commuter-student parking lot very close to Cole, where it is free to park on weekends. Continue on Campus Drive past Cole and the tennis courts.
In fact, most of the parking lots are free at that time, just make sure there isn't a sign restricting it to Faculty/Staff permit holders.
I hope this post is useful.

I'm sorry, I just saw that you asked for directions too.
The easiest thing to do, assuming you are starting somewhere in the vicinity of 9:30 (I can't help you too much otherwise), is take Rhode Island Ave. Eventually this becomes Baltimore Ave./Route 1. You'll come to an intersection with Paint Branch Parkway/Campus Drive, where the main entrance to campus is on your left. Turn left into campus, and Cole is at the top of the hill. Lot 1 is just beyond Cole and the tennis courts.

Doors open at 7 pm. Razorlight goes onstage at 8 pm.
-
Well, thanks a lot.. everyone, enjoy the show tonight!!!!
-
anyone know what time MUSE hits the stage?
-
really good show
-
Enjoyed it as well... anyone see my two year old and I navigating the concourse? Hey... her first rock concert. Would have made it at the club, but those midnight weekend headliner times rule that out for a two year old. Maybe again at merriweather this summer.
-
My sister and I saw you. I think you were adjusting her earplugs. My sister tapped me on the shoulder and I turned to see you two. Very cute. I wish I had started that early. Was there a club show also? How did I not know this?
-
I was a bit disappointed with the setup. Honestly -- chairs? In the standing room? We were right in front of a barrier of chairs on the ground security had set up, and of course for the last song when a bunch of drunk frat guys shoved forward, the chairs all went sliding over the ground. You'd think someone would've known that would happen, but I suppose not.
Either way, Muse was great.

Muse is a great band. and even though the college setting is really the worst for a show, they are amazing live, and thier new stuff sounds awesome!!!
-
Yeah, Muse were great. I also was very disappointed with the chairs.. I am from Germany and I did not know before that there are concerts where you have to sit and so I thought it is a bad joke. But it wasn't. Really, really strange. I also liked Razorlight, the singer looked like Adam Green.
-
I didn't mind the chairs. I could sit during Razorlight who I didn't particularly care for then just walked to the front for Muse.
They were awesome, as usual, as everyone else stated.
-
Yes, The chairs werent so bad. i mean shit....no beer and no smoking area at all, and who cares about standing!!!! I wouldnt like it if every concert was like that.
and why did the Razorlight singer continue to disrobe throughout the show...come on man, you are a skinny little Brit AND you're the opening band!!!!! We didnt even come to see you!
;)

I thought it was amusing by the end of their set, virtually everyone was sitting down and yelling nasty comments. Some guy yelled "speak english!" like 3 rows behind me and I nearly died laughing.

yeah, at the beginning of their set, everytime they stopped playing these guys were yelling "Rubbish!!!" at the top of thier lungs....I guess its the only "british word" they knew :) college kids sure are funny!

wow, i totally overlooked this thread.
i was there.
the show was EXCELLENT!!!
the chairs though, those REALLY pissed me off. esp. because the last show i was at was a big u2 arena show and i was of course, sitting in seats.
i always feel pretty awkward in a seat at a concert, because i am just sitting, bobbing my head and tapping my foot and singing along...squack.
anyway; loved razorlight's new stuff and muse was OUTSTANDING.
