Some guy (supposedly a 17 year old) posted something saying he recorded an album at home and it was on iTunes and the money goes to Darfur. May be true but it smacked of some kind of scam, sort of street team like thing, or those over-priced door to door magazine subscription ploys. I seriously doubted what he was claiming though wasn't sure but my comment refered to the fact that after all of that, he never bothered to post a link or any kind of info as to how to find it.

again, i'd like to resurrect my suggestion for a new rule in this forum: junior members shouldn't be allowed to start new threads. seriously, it's not that hard to stick around for 25 poasts and get a feel for what this place is (and isn't) about.
that, and no more going to capitals games. 4-0 at the end to the first to losing in a shoot-out.
no reason for either of these.

Sorry, something got screwed up with my post and it got deleted and the name of the thread was changed. It sounds sketchy, I know but, I actually do want anyone's opinion on an album that I recorded over the summer. It's called Sol and my name is Michael Mellody and yea I'm a 17 year old high school kid. You can find it on iTunes, I know that it is expensive for someone you never heard of but you can at least sample it for free. Also, as the guy above said, I am going to donate the profits to Save Darfur and no this is not a scam. Sorry I can't provide a link or anything but my album is also on Rhapsody which I believe you can stream for free. I would appreciate anyone's feedback. Thanks.

also that post about junior members is a bit harsh. i often go on this forum just to check out different topics although I don't often make posts myself.

sorry dude, there's been a recent rash of junior members starting annoying threads. yeah, a rash. my suggestion was neither new nor directed specifically at you. y'all should learn from me: let others start threads then post annoying replies :p
i'm still not sure what this thread has to do with new mexico... maybe nanometer? Debian New Maintainer (NM)?

No message?
He did have a different title, something about being truly Indie, or something like that. I figured it got changed to NM (no message?) when the post was deleted by one of the mods.
Dupek won't make it. He delights in remaining a mystery.
