I was planning on it, but I just noticed that doors are at 6pm.  There's no way I can get there in time for an early show.  :(

There's no late show listed.  Is there a private event or something at the club after this show?

I'm definitely there and for what it's worth the band is cool with any sort of documentation tomorrow night be it audio, video or photo.
Also I know it's been the trend lately on the board to give BYT shit but they did a fantastic article on the band:

Is it at 6pm because us oldsters have to be in bed by 9?

And YBB, I can't believe we might actually be in the same place at the same time!   What are the odds?

That was a great show...  I'm usually a little wary of reunion shows by long-gone bands, because whatever spark that once drove them is often gone... but the Verbs play like they still mean it.

Blogged about here:

I promise I'll stop gushing about this show soon, but first I want to say that I know I have delivered snarkiness to Brightest Young Things in the past, but their review was spot-on... nicely done.

Betty, those are great shots -- there were a lot of people with very expensive cameras climbing over each other for the best angle that night, and I seriously doubt anyone managed much better than that.

And Cale, I would enjoy contributing, although these days my life mostly consists of sitting on my back porch and watching stray cats marauding in the alley.

Thanks all for the heads up on this.  Very cool show.  I never knew of the Urban Verbs growing up, but it was cool to feel the spirit of DC past . . . and the new songs rocked too.
