That has got to be the dumbest thing EVER~! I mean, what's the point again, other than cruelty to animals?
 
 And why does it mean more winter if it sees it's shadow anyway...doesn't it make more sense that winter would be almost over if it casts a shadow because that means the sun is shining and therefore warmer weather?
