Title: Singapore Sling

Hailing from Iceland, I'm sure someone on this board has heard of them given this description...
 
 Hailing from Rejkyavik, Iceland, the mysterious, elusive Singapore Sling at once celebrate and cross-pollinate the diverse, ambitious artistic vision of the best of the early Creation Records roster, running the gamut from the Jesus and Mary Chain to Primal Scream to My Bloody Valentine to Swervedriver.  Their music is at once renegade and retrospective, a bristling, anarchic sonic attack, mounted atop classic, hook-laden psychedelic pop.

They're pretty good,very J & MC influenced,but not as intense.Should be a good show!!

I dig the 'Sling.  I've always had a soft spot in my heart for loads of feedback and plenty of rock n' roll attitude.  Hopefully I'll make it to the Velvet Lounge show...

whoops, it is March, there are so few Velvet Lounge shows on their schedule that when I looked quickly I must of assumed it was Feb
