Head of book theft gang jailed
A man who used a gang to carry out daily raids on leading book stores has been jailed for two-and-a-half-years.
Ronald Jordan, from Finchley, north London, was found guilty last month for conspiracy to steal between November 2001 and November 2002.
Southwark Crown Court in London heard that when police raided the 61-year-old's four-bedroom house they found 25,000 stolen books.
The market trader would sell the books off makeshift tables at bargain prices.

it would be cool if they put border's out of business

Well if the evil corporate publishing houses weren't releasing such worthless, overhyped, tripe, we wouldn't have to steal the books.
Do you know how much the author gets from writing a book? The publishers are jackin' 'em, dude.
FUCK THE AAP (http://www.publishers.org/)!!!!
FIGHT THE POWER!!!!!

Are you sure you really wanted to admit that on a public forum?
Oh wait, you are only saying that to gain credibility, right?

Most definately not trying to gain credibility....seeing as I'll never meet any of you people. At least it's not likely.
As far as the public forum part....well gee...You're probably right. Tacky post. I took it down.

Just a case of me sharing a little too much about myself during a momentary lapse of reason. Thanks mark e!

Oh, I have heard that plenty of times before..... You will break, eventually.
I thought your post was great and informative. Remind me to keep an eye on my art books when you are around. :p

It's alright, I know a place where they virtually, "give them away"!

After you buy a DVD or CD, be sure to save your adhesive/metallic security strip

Isn't there a group of authors out there that believes all information should be free to the public? I remember hearing about this on the radio.
Also, there are websites where you can read old texts for free. It has something to do with expired copyright, I believe.
