No really, townspeople freak out and think the gov'ts trying to dose them.

Between the lead, trace synthetic hormones, and high coliform count, I'd forgotten all about the flouride!

try living where i live.  sulfer in the water.  without a system, you have rotten egg smelling water to bath in/wash clothes/cook.

first of all, i would never move . . . even though we had a full grown brown bear playing and eating bird seed in my back yard yesterday.  he was so cute and scary.  my cats were enthralled.
 
 second, it is the shenandoah, one of the most scenic parts of virginia, next to south central va.  and looking at parts of dc, i would say it is there that fits more likey to resembling a slum, third world or any world.
