Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005'
[dbmssocn]General network error. Check your network documentation.
/include/header.asp, line 49
That's what I'm dealing with this morning. Seems the underlying SQL server at the hosting farm had some sort of malfunction.

Luckily the SQL server ain't my problem but that of the hosting company. I don't even have access to it. Still got to listen to everyone cry about it though.

Firefox is great, as is Thunderbird.....though they are both still beta. Hell, even their new calander app, Sunbird is pretty nice (though could use some work)

so .9 started crashing everytime I open it this morning, and I am not the only one, there is a growing thread of people complaining of the same thing on the mozillazine forum

for real? i love the dl manager...the few times i have problems, 'r-c save as' always werks.
haven't tried .9 yet since .8 is plenty fine. i think i can wait for 1.0. the weak point of ff for me is having to reinstall the newest flash/shockwave with every version. other than that, i spread the gospel of the good browser.
