For his q and a after the Inland Empire screening at AFI Silver?
I'm excited.

Didn't know about it. Just ask him when "The Angriest Dog in the World" will come out in book form.
-
i met him one time in Toronto, fucking weirdo!
-
I heard his college roommate was Peter Wolf.
-
Have tickets to see him at the Kennedy Center on Sunday. It should be very interesting.

No the coffee.

What? You're both twisted? :p

an incomprehensible penchant for nightmarish surrealism?

they both can't act.

Hey Dupek, if you are Russian when you enter the bathroom and Finnish after you come back out, what are you while inside?
-
European

Shouldn't you be Finnish BEFORE you come back out? ;)

Yeah, that works too. Very old joke and I've told it a few different ways in the past.
The funniest time was when I told some Frenchmen I was dating. He understood it and loved it. Later on, he told some American friends of his and...well....a lot got lost in translation. He ended up making me retell it to these people who said what he told them was something completely different and made no sense whatsoever. Okay, guess you had to be there.

Just saw Inland Empire, very cool.
-
I thought the movie was great. The q&a session afterwards was nice also, except for one guy's ridiculous question. It was really awesome seeing him in person.
-
Did he talk about the movies are did he talk about meditation? Saw a Q&A with him and he was annoyed about movie talk... Any interesting answers. Couldn't make the talks and I was bummed.
-
We saw the movie yesterday (not the Lynch Q&A show, though). Does anyone want to talk about their understanding of the movie? I think I have a basic grasp of it, but I don't understand what the damn rabbits were about...
-
I'm still thinking about it..but basically, I found it to be pretty comparable to Mulholland Drive where there was alot of time shifting and character swapping roles around..so, I guess I haven't really figured it out yet.
-
As for the q&a, he talked about movies, and meditation. I thought alot of the questions were pretty good. Except for the last one where the guy asked him why he always picks gorgeous women for roles in his films. That question was pointless.
-
The rabbits are also characters from his web only film, Rabbits, in 2002.

Justin Theroux also stated that he "couldn't possibly tell you what the film's about, and at this point I don't know that David Lynch could. It's become sort of a pastime - Laura [Dern] and I sit around on set trying to figure out what's going on."
if the actors, who had the script, can't figure it out - uh, good luck :) for me, lynch has always been a voyage-not-the-destination sort of thing.
