 I still listen to my scratchy and dusty 12" of the Bardot/Gainsbourg "Je taime" at least once a week.

I hadn't been aware of a version with Brigitte Bardot; the 7" I have is of Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin.
 
 Turns out (according to Wikipedia) that "Jane Birkin replaced actress Brigitte Bardot after protests of Bardot's manager, fearing for her image" and that the version with Bardot was ultimately released in the 1980s.  Interesting.

If you get Serge's album Comic Strip, there's a version with Bardot.
