I know its great that all (or most) bands have music you can listen to on their site, but I find it EXTREMELY annoying when that music just starts all loud, upon entering the site.
Why do bands do this? its annoying and usually makes me leave the site immediately. Sometimes its not even easy to turn off!!!! If you want a player...fine, but let me turn it on!!!
Does this annoy anyone else? or is it cool and i just dont know it...

It annoys me. Not only can it be unexpected and loud (hence, abrasive), I quite often already have music playing on my computer, so now I have dueling tunes. Yuck!
