no quiz yet need to ponder it this weekend
so a little humour instead
On the chest of a barmiaid at Yale,
Were tattooed the prices of ale.
And on her behind,
For the sake of the blind,
Was the same information in Braille.

A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is smoking a cigarette with a very satisfied smile on his face. The egg is frowning and looking frustrated. The egg says, "Guess we answered that question."

This is so very odd - I keep seeing/reading this joke. Now here, and also most recently I saw it "attributed" to an actress in a magazine.
I first heard this joke uttered by Captain Peacock on an episode of "Are You Being Served?" As far as I know that is the first/earliest time this joke was "told."
Anyone know its (real/true) origins?
Cheers
