According to Disturbed's website (www.disturbed1.com), the band will be playing @ the 9:30 Club on 12/19 and 12/20 does anyone know when the tickets will go on sale so I can be first in line??

I don't know when tickets go on sale, but I can tell you that I believe Disturbed is one of the greatest bands on Earth. Welcome to the music community known as the 9:30 chat board.

Welcome to 930.com, and Disturbed is a fantastic band. All of us here love being down with the sickness and were all well aware they were still a band. No doubt many of us will attend this legendary two-night stand.

No, I do not know when they go on sale, but I would suggest using the internet to buy tickets as opposed to "waiting in line" since you'll probably get tickets faster online and without, well, having to wait in line.

Tickets generally go on sale on Thursday's, about a month and a half before the event. You can keep watching the frontpage of this site, or sign up for the weekly newsletter that comes on Wednesday's and tells you what's going on sale that week. To sign up, send an email to list_serve@930.com.

Holy Who Knew?  Disturbed debuts in the #1 spot on the charts, selling almost 240,000 copies of their CD in the first week.  They beat Bon Jovi by 40,000 units.

I had no idea they were that big.

I first saw Disturbed open for Danzig.  They had just shortly released their debut album then but very few people at the show new about them.

They went on and immediatly the lead singer comes out in a strait jacket and a bite mask, and I am like oh man what the hell is this???  I thought great I have to slog through a horrid opener.

THen they took over.. litteraly.  After the 3rd song I knew these guys were going to be something good!!

I ran into them again at another show with some other acts (Kittie, Shuvel, some other names I can't recall).  The band was in the crowd after their set just hanging out.

I approached David Draiman (man he is short), but he was real cool and had none of that rock star ego attitude.  He actually enjoyed talking to everyone and getting into the rest of the show.  He's a class act.  Dan Donegan was also a blast he has the most goofiest grin and was real pleasant to be around.
