yaaaaaaaaaaay blondie
i keep thinking i should go see her.............
-
Joan Jett should be great. I'm definitely going to that one. I was excited about Blondie until I saw the price.
-
I saw Joan Jett at Taste of DC.
She'd have to roll around naked with her girlfriend for it to be worth $40.
Saw Blondie on the Today Show. She is awful. Matt Lauer asked her if she was "still punk".
-
yeah i doubt i'd pay $40 to see her now................
still......... she was cool then..............ain't time cruel?

It's only $25.

Did you see Matt Lauer interview Bruce Springsteen? Classic. At one point they were driving around and Lauer asked Springsteen to buckle up.

She should have went into bluegrass. You can be 80 and play bluegrass and still look and sound cool.
In fact, it helps to be 80 in the bluegrass world.

That's funny Markie, someone from work said the exact same thing in an e mail to me as the post title. Anyways, thinking about Joan Jett, but saw Blondie last year, it was good but not this time for fourty bucks.

Sorry, I take every opportunity to rag on you, but you never take offense. I am beginning to think I am doing something wrong?
I really dont want my mental image of blondie to re-align with reality. To me she will always be in shiny black skin tight outfits.

It's hard to take offense when i read the posts two hours after its been written then everyone else has responded ten times each. The comeback just wouldn't seem fast enough.

I would like to see The Casual Dots but I'm not into Joan Jett at all. Besides, I can see them for only $8 in advance or $10 at the door at The Ottobar if I choose.
Wednesday April 21st
Deerhoof, Casual Dots (ex Quixotic, Bikini Kill)
and Nautical Almanac
Have only heard a couple of their songs and liked them but not sure I'd like them enough to put up with Deerhoof.
-Edit-
Speaking of, just heard them only minutes ago.
