come on, kids, when o when will the franz ferdinand date be announced? we all know it's june 20, so just announce it and let us spend our money already!! :)
-
What's the rush? The date's more than two months away...9:30 rarely announces shows that far in advance. That just gives you more time to lose your ticket. :) [/b][/quote]

I just thought...this isn't going to be a Darkness kind of thing, is it? (Okay, not selling out in 5 mintues, but the day they go on sale.) I can't imagine buying tix online for a 9:30 show...
-
I've done it a number of times...
but I don't have the luxury of living in the District.
Worse yet, I'm not even a DC Burbanite! :p

ok, so am I insane, or is FF on the Radio Shack commercials now?? In the background, they play the "Ich heise Super-Fantastic" part of Darts of Pleasure.
Either that or I'm insane.

for when it gets announced... does 930 have a specific time when they update the site? like, say, thursdays at midnight? Just so I can beat you all to get tickets even though I don't think they'll sell a-la-Darkness.
-
Not sure how you'll accomplish that since most tickets go on sale around 10am via Tickets.com sales outlets.

I really, really hope they don't sell out a la the Darkness. Although I think they might. I've have little internal arguments with myself with I tell people about them... Always in the back of my wormy mind, there's that little voice saying, "Stop! one less person to buy a ticket to the show!" Ridiculous, but *that's how I think.*

It feels like the buzz on them has waned a little bit in the last couple weeks, at least in terms of what would affect the DC market. Of course, I don't listen to the radio and don't have XM so could be completely in the dark on this. My guess is it will sell out eventually, but not as quickly as Darkness or Velvet Revolver (which surprises the hell out of me).
