i will hate myself if was good, but i hate them even more for not being all friendly together with jello and east bay ray.

nah. but i saw the melvins show with jello last year and they busted out a bunch of dk songs. that was good enough for me.

I went to the show Tuesday night, and had a great time. The band was really tight, and the singer enthusiastic. Obviously he was not Jello, but I missed the "real" thing when I had the chance years ago. This show made up for it, although I was disappointed with the size of the crowd. It seemed like only 100 people, although I could be wrong. About half high schoolers, half old punks, but it was really cool to see both halves singing every word and slamming together. I just wish it could have been with a full house at 9:30, but I guess those days are not going to happen for the DKs any more.
I may try to catch Jello and the Melvins, based on andyrichter's comments above.

Saw em in 85 in Morgantown WV at The Underground Railroad for no more than ten bucks. One of the best punk shows I'd ever witnessed, and they had alot there during that period. Gotta love somebody passionate and forthright in his views on issues and more than willing to share it all for the performance.Very influential band of that period fer sure.
