...about as bad as I can imagine.
They're rolling out the HFStival band announcements over this whole week -- three bands per day until Saturday, when tix go on sale. What the hell, let's see how bad it is. (I think the only saving graces will be Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Modest Mouse, neither of which is enough to get me out there...)
As of March 13:
The Offspring
O.A.R.
Papa Roach
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Lost Prophets
P.O.D
-
Postal Service is on it, too, I think.
-
Postal Service is a rumor....
Now, if there's Modest Mouse, Postal Service, Yeah Yeah Yeahs....will that be worth $40 and a day with the kids at RFK? I can't help thinking that those bands will come through and hit clubs....

yyy seems to come through fairly often, ditto gibbard bands. getting worried that mm will be here twice at stupid festivals and decide that's enough. i mean, we still haven't got a proper gbv show for earthquake glue

When are they going to add some alt-country bands to the mix? Slaid Cleaves is on tour...

I didn't realize BRMC is rumored to be on the bill... Hmmm. They are better in clubs, but combined with the other bands, this might be worth checking out. Any word on ticket prices?

Yeah, I have to say, the Lollapalooza lineup is at least interesting...I think I may keep my eye on it.

It was in the 9:30 Club email; may have been in the HFStival email, but I wouldn't know...

OK, I'm now convinced that even seeing Modest Mouse isn't worth it...
