...are playing in one of the local pubs in Cork.

It's like opening a Happy Birthday card that plays Gary Numan's "Cars" at Sam Kinison's funeral, and the touring keyboardist from Warrant demanding you let the entire tune play.

No thanks....we have a clothes rack to dry the laundry on now.  ;)

I didn't mean lazy in that sense, just too lazy to make the effort to go out beyond the pub on the corner.

I heard them at the Black Cat a few weeks ago, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to hear 'em again.  Their music was so bland and uninspired, it'll certainly NOT get your "lazy arse" goovin' to the beat. At that show, the lead singers voice was shot, so maybe they'll be better if he's on the mend.

I saw BSP twice, and twice they were outstanding. I didn't go to their last show in D.C. because I was sleepy. Maybe they do just suck now, or maybe they just had a bad night.

I'll give them another chance if they come by.

Oh and I forgot to say, it gives you the perfect opportunity to go around the whole audience and say, " I was in the navy, you know!"

 Just seems weird that:

 a) one of your staff writers said they wanted to review the cd but you wouldn't let them.

 b) you knew we were playing at Woxy last Friday and first decided to put "Cartel?" on the date last week, with no link to our site as you do to other bands. This week we are removed altogether from the calendar.

Of course that is fine as it is your site and you can do with it as you will..I'm just slightly baffled as to why a site that lends a hand to bands from the local scene would shun us that way..

For one, please let me know which of our writers told you that. I sent your CD out to be reviewed last year, only for it to be neglected by a dead-beat writer (who might not even be writing for us anymore. I'd have to check our records). In fact, I am almost positive I told someone else we still wanted to review it.

As far as the online calendar goes, I don't watch over that directly, but I will check into why you are no longer up there.

I can assure you no intentional shunning has been done. Hell, i was gonna go to your show last night up until the last minute. Plus, I've seen you guys twice already.

 No shunning going on.

All cool then...we were kinda baffled seeing as we've never said a bad thing about your site or the Cloves...it was a misunderstanding obviously so I'm happy we cleared it up..

boy, this sets an example on the Forum..  :)
