Title: American Idol - final 8
Post by: Vas Deferens on April 11, 2007, 02:12:00 pm
Who will be kicked out tonight? I'm betting on Haley or Phil...

Sanjaya actually did good last night and picked the best song of the evening. The rest of the contestants picked your normal commercial crap. They should do an indie night one of these days!

They were all out of their genre last night and it made the entertainment far worse than usual.

I agree that either Phil or Haley (likely Haley) is gone tonight, but nobody deserved to survive after last night.  I'm still not sure why you would ask 8 American Idols to do a Latin Themed night, but that's just me.

It's still not as bad as country night.

I thought that at least one or two were comfortable on Country night last year (Kelly Pickler, Chris Duaghtry, etc.).

Last night, they were all trainwrecks.

True.  There are still usually a few countrified contestants left at this point (none this year that I can tell).  I just meant Latin night is personally less painful for me to sit through than country night (though it's a very close call).

I thought Blake sounded the best and Sanjaya was once again, the worst.

Chris Richardson has the most annoying voice. His nose is actually doing the singing  :D

They would probably choose someone like Ben Gibbard.

 I would choose Frank Black.

Hmmm, tough one.

Maybe Henry Rollins for hardcore indie night.

Lux and Poison Ivy would be a great setup.

Of course we do, but I don't have a government job so actually have to do some work rather than surf the web all day.
