good, bad? setlist?
-
I thought they tore the place up. Great show. Sorry, no set list.

i'm pissed that i missed this. i saw it on my personal calendar... 3 minutes before they were scheduled to hit the stage.
personal planning fail.

I was slinging drinks all night so I wasn't able to really pay too much attention, but they sounded great. Makes me wish I wasn't working. Can't speak for the set list, but I know they didn't do the cover of Don't Let Me Down (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPFhtcwwrtU) by The Beatles that's absolutely amazing : (

great show. stronger show than the last tour a few years ago. definitely have moved to a much more heavy rocking sound, which i like.
september has been a great month for shows at the 930.

they were great in nyc. kelly's voice has never sounded better. my friends and i were all plenty pleased with the set list. the final song was dakota. it was pretty much an evening of 'greatest hits'.
more importantly: people in planes started off the evening and played one hell of an energetic set. gareth seemed pretty excited to be opening for the stereophonics and hopefully it finally put them on the map.
and just came across this off their website.
this is the setlist from NYC-9th september-webster hall:
bartender
bank holiday
trees
friends
superman
doorman
nice day
mr. writer
devil
my star
vegas
same size feet
sandwiches
tramps vest
pick a part
just looking
local boy
encores:
maybe tomorrow
traffic
dakota

I don't typically post pictures from shows but this one my buddy took was extra awesome.

Great show. And to the drunk assholes who barged their way up to the front 2/3 of the way into the show and flailed around like idiots...fuck you.

Dude, I can say that about almost every show I go to...who are these people?

I enjoyed it, but it won't and never could compare to the Morfa Stadium Wales show.
