i care because i post on and read this board too.
however, with all of your countless amounts of insensitive, flame-baiting and NSFW threads that you start its more annoying to sift through to get to the real topics. and then, when i find a real discussion about say, a band, or show or festival, you always interject with something completely unrelated, usually mocking the topic at hand. and while if i thought you had the least bit of originality, it may be funny, i believe all of your rants were written by someone else, and all of your little funny comments and pics just taken from another board or website.
i cannot remember the last time you started or contributed to a conversation with ANY kind of insight or thought.

I don't know if Dupek was trying to be funny, but of course the source of his comment is Cho Seung-Hui's final note that he left. I'd take his posts with a pretty good amount of salt...that being said, I didn't find it particularly funny. But I'll move on with my day just fine, thanks!

Bearman, I think you are one of the few on this board who have some clue as how to read Dupek. While I don't always agree with his point of view, a good bulk of his posts are full of wonderfully bizarre humor which I personally thoroughly love. Then there are times when he pisses some off because he knows how to find those flaws in others' points of view that pryes open cracks. Sometimes I agree with him and sometimes not at all. Either way, I respect his, and all other board members, right for having their own opinions and presenting them here. Yeah, there are times he goes a bit overboard. So does Rhett and the rest of us. That's all part of the mix of human differences.
I like Rhett too. (Sorry to single you out Rhett but since others already mentioned you.) If I didn't like anyone whoever pissed me off from time to time, I'd have no friends. There is too much other crap in this world making life miserable at times to bother too much about some things. Maybe it's age speaking but that's just the way I see it.

i certainly hope you arent pointing at me as someone whos overly disgusted at this V Tech shooting. i have kept my comments quite quiet about it (and admittedly didnt know this thread had anything to do with it)as i am sure i have an extremely unpopular opinion on this issue and i dont wish for people to hopelessly try to make me feel bad for having it or try to change my mind.
all i'll say is that i feel just as bad for the students shot yesterday as i do for the people who get shot everyday on the streets of baltimore and america.

hum, interesting angle on dupey's observations... i tend to see them as childish attempts at seizing attention by being controversial for the sake of being contriversial. i don't see a great plan behind what he does, instead he waits for the obvious and easy buttons and pushes them. a mass-killer's final words, while it's in the news? owwww, great idea for an un-attributed post! let the sh*t fly and watch people get wound up, then later spring "the truth"!
