i think this was talked about recently on here, but i can't find it (ahem, *search function*, ahem)
anyone have any good ideas for hanging LP covers on walls?
i'd rather not go the pricey route of buying a bunch of 12"x12" glass frames, even though they look really nice

Those frames are really cheap at Michaels. I think we bought ours for around 4 dollars a piece. You could go to the effort of making your own frames with two pieces of lucite. My friend did this with really neat hardware, but honestly, for the price those frames are at Michaels, it's easier.
The glass is cheap, so I would keep them out of direct sunlight.

A few years back, Target had some frames specifically designed for record covers.
Not sure if they still carry them. They were in the frames section.

Um, might I ask what you plan on doing with the vinyl while the covers are hanging around on the walls?

Blu-tac is good but be sure to ask your mum before you start to decorate your bedroom, she might not want the bicycle wallpaper covered over.

Yeah, Michaels or AC Moore have LP-specific frames. You can often find them on sale at AC moore for about $5 each.

Indeed. Just bought a few of these (http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=fl0077) last weekend. I believe they were $6 each.

Urban Outfitters has 'em too. I'm pretty proud of my Abbey Road > McLemore Avenue pairing.
Speaking of vinyl, I just scored another shelf for the vinyl from Ballard Bookcase:

Spendy but worth it. Curious how others store their LPs?
