I'm trying to figure out how just how early I will have to show up to get a seat to this thing. It's not worth spending hours and hours in the cold, probably, but it will be a dang good concert. Plus there will be the validation of having free tickets in hand when scalpers hit Ebay and Craig's with them that afternoon.
Anyone with recent ticket camping-out experience able to offer me a rough guess for how early to arrive for a 9am distribution time? Thanks!

Here's the blurb from the www.kennedy-center.org (http://www.kennedy-center.org) site:
To commemorate 10 years of free daily performances on the Millennium Stage, the Kennedy Center presents an unprecedented night of free performances in its various venues. Each of the live performances will also be projected on screens in the Grand Foyer, so that audiences who acquire free tickets to one event may still enjoy a free simulcast of the other performances.

So if I live in Germantown and want to see this show, I'd have to get up at what... 6 AM next saturday in order to have a chance at a ticket?

This is really unfortunate...I will be in NYC on the 27th.
This is extremely frustrating as I have been waiting for this show for some time...and even scheduled the start date of my new job around it.
