Anybody wanna go? I have an extra ticket for sale.

careful with this band. this board hates them. I still think that first album called the same name as the band was very good, excellent. Terrible live though, maybe amongst the worst I have seen.

I'm not so sure. Now that they're in the third album of their career, and the hype has died down to hatred, I think we'll all start liking them again. Stay tuned :D

I share the same opinions you do about their first album. Never heard the second one.
Back in 2005, I actually had tickets for their Black Cat show that got unanimously panned, but didn't go due to work. Then I heard they sold out THREE RnR Hotel shows last year. So I'm kinda thinking the smaller the venue, the more comfortable the band is, the better the show.
Then again, I could be wrong.

God - what a piece-of-shit band

Rusty, I've got my $$ on you being the next forum member banned!

I fucking hate them.

My review:
All in all, it wasn't a bad show. They're certainly by no means a good live band, but I loved hearing the old stuff, enjoyed listening to the new stuff, AND I got a free beer from the dude I sold my extra ticket to (some guy who looked like Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall on business from Seattle.)
And apparently, the Ben Folds concert was shitty, so looks like I won.

I thought they were good at the 8x10 show in b'more way back when the first album came out, but their second album is awful.

When the choice is between Ben Folds and CYHSY, no one's a winner.
